I provide a safe space where you and I can explore the emotions and experiences that characterize your struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. Together we will discover the factors contributing to difficulties, and those strengths that may be waiting to be acknowledged--all in the service of creating more freedom and opportunity in your life. I specialize in two areas: working with mothers and their babies, from pregnancy to 3 years of age. I also work with adults, particularly those who may be experiencing life transitions, have trouble managing day-to-day tasks under stress, those who experience anxiety, depression, difficulty managing emotions, as well as adults experiencing relationship difficulties, problems in work or school, or those seeking to understand and manage trauma.

I offer attachment-based psychotherapy, and am also formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I consider this a benefit in helping work through difficult times.  Sometimes we really need help finding ways to break rhythms that are getting in our way, and collaborative approaches to these solutions can be very helpful. To complement this, my attachment-based, relational approach helps develop an awareness of your own processes of feeling and relating--a skill that only grows stronger, even after ending therapy.

I have wide experience of training and treatment, from mother-infant communication and bonding, to parental mental health, and adult psychotherapy. One of my specialties is in behavior and development, including building a secure relationship between moms and their babies, assisting with developmental questions, and all the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that may emerge during various life changes.  In addition, I have extensive experience working with adults experiencing other life changes, including relationship changes, adjustment problems, and trauma.
